Where's Oprah when I need her??

Well, you have been a busy bunch fervently searching for clues everywhere! I really hate telling you this because you seem like such a good group, but...

all you have found are fakes, including those pictures you have described!

I which Oprah could have delivered this news! She would have done so much better.

Oh, I am so very sorry! The imposter is a sick and twisted gamester and seeks to break your collective spirit. Take heart--a new real hint has been released to us and what we received you will find below.

But first I want to take a moment to bolster your confidence, and to try yet again to convince you to ask questions (like playing 20 questions!) in the comments of this blog. There are those who follow this blog who want to help, but communicating in the blog is the only way they know if you need help. You are doing a fantastic job! Your spirits are soaring!

Here's your Friday hint:

An oath they all took,

With the numbers listed,

  1. Ahoy Everyone!
Pete here. This is like Deja vu! Fakes! Imposters! Shams! During my fishnapping days, there were fake Pete's EVERYWHERE, a dozen of them were planted all over the building. One arrived in a limo one day, some were pan-fried and dissected (horrifying, scary pictures were sent in), cans of tuna fish started showing up on people's desks (my poor mother almost fainted!), another fake Pete actually showed up in a Limo out front! So, don't be swayed, stay the course! The REAL clues and treasure are still out there. Oprah, WE NEED YOU!!!
    OK, another fish joke:
What do you call a big fish who makes you an offer you can't refuse?
    The Codfather!
    Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

  2. Well that was a big let down, huh? Oh well! About this new clue…what do you all think? I think the Professor is on to the right track. This Treasure guy is really wired so I bet his version of the Hippocratic Oath is from the Internet…my first guess would be Wikipedia since it is kind of the premier encyclopedic website for nearly all things American. The numbers look like a simple code maybe a line or sentence with a letter or word? You probably need to count a few of the numbers out and see if it is spelling something. Obviously if the first letter is an ‘x’ and the second is a ‘q’ that probably isn’t the right code or version. Capish?
